Do you already have this board? If so, what are the markings? Does it indeed say Intel Desktop Board D845GVS(R)/D845EPI or something similar? Is it possible to put pictures online and link to them or send those to elhvb@outlook.com ?

It is NOT possible to identify this board without actually having a picture of it.

D845GVSR
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/d845gvsr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-D845EPI-D845GVSR-P4-Socket-478-DDR-Motherboard-/250764713595
(4 USB in the back and onboard VGA)

D845GLVA
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/d845glva
http://www.pcdomino.com/page/PROD/D845GLVA.html
(2 USB in the back and onboard VGA)

D845EPI
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/d845epi
(4 USB and NO onboard video/VGA)

All boards have 2 front USB ports, onboard audio. All of them can have onboard LAN.

You will see something like VA84510A.86A.0056.P20.0605040337 at startup.
