HI,
I am going to build my first very own pc.
but I want to know if am doing this right for example:
can 2 radeon hd 7950's work with a intel i5 (ivy bridge) or is it going to be bottlenecked?

as long as you're using it for gaming, no.
if doing any professional graphics (cad/photoshop) get an i7.
