|
|
Well sir ... I installed HW Monitor on the system we have talked about in a different thread with the Bestec that has a bad rep ... this is the readings I get for the P/S
ATX +3.3V (Min:3.30v Max: 3.33v)
+5V (Min: 5.08 Max : 5.13v)
+12 (Min: 11.98 Max:12.24v)
So what does this mean? Could it be because that one P4 pins on the mobo is scorched be the reason? Or is it the P/S itself? What is your recommendation?
I highly doubt HW Monitor has a bug.
On second thought after looking at evasive's link again the +5 is in the 24 pin clip ... no information on whether or not it is in the P4 clip. According to the link ...
"Drive circuits and some motherboard circuitry uses 5V power. System RAM, USB devices and LCD panel displays use 5V. PCI cards use 5V and/or 3.3V. PCI cards use 5V and/or 3.3V."
So some of these components are not getting enough power?

|
|
Well sir ... the computer died on me yesterday ... I go to boot it up and no system beep ... the P/S fan is turning and I get some power, but no boot up. It's either the P/S or the mobo ... I thought the one P/S had the pins for the video card, but it doesn't so I decided to order another P/S and see what happen since the P/S reading was low. So that's that. Will let you know what happens when I get the new P/S ... _________________ Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 mobo
