 Hello again -back to this Wonderfull forum.
I am trying to do Dual Boot on my good ole system .
It is WIn XP pro and Suse Linux 9.2 .
They are both installed on separate Hard-drives.
The Hard drives are identical in specs (Maxtor 20 gib ,dma 33 IDE interface.)
My motherboard is that old Jetaway/Machspeed 694ts series with a Pentium 3 1.26 socket 370 .
Memory is 784 mb Sdram.
Second ide channel is Dvd-rom then a DVD-rw .
Any ideas on how to do Dual booting on this thing???

Are you trying to dual boot two existing installations or starting from scratch?
From scratch:
1- Install XP on primary first
2- Install Linux on Slave and use its boot loader as the system loader. Alternatively you may use a third party loader for that purpose.
Check this wonderful tool (RPM) out. It's not sophisticated but very powerful and dangerous at the same time as it gives you direct access to the hdd parameters.
