i really wish i had about another 8-20 hours a day.
with BF3, skyrim and the new assassin's creed...ugh. i just want to do nothing but play games all week. it's torture to go to work and think about it all day.
no, i don't want to get you those system blueprints and AAO diagrams, i'd much rather be grabbing some dog tags, slashing my way through a dungeon or stabbing some people in the back.

Most of my time goes into BF3 right now actually. Was waiting for it to come out it seems like forever. I was a HUGE fan of BF2 and 1942 back in the day.
One of the things that disappoints me about BF3 is that it lost a lot of the "communication" aspect that BF2 had. Rarely do you get a squad that works together like they should. |

very true. they lost a lot of it with BFBC2 - people tended to just run off and do their own thing. when squads actually worked together it was practically unstoppable though. it's relatively similar in BF3, when you get a couple of people focused on spawning on each other and continually working toward an objective, it can be pretty easy to take over a map.
as for skyrim...i caved and bought it last night.
99 minutes in, first random crash/drop to desktop. feels very similar to fallout 3, as the developers said it would be. still don't like the inventory system.

| If you (or anyone else) ever played Morrowind, how does it compare to that? I skipped Oblivion, but really liked Morrowind. I heard Oblivion changed the "feel" of things and Skyrim is even changed more than that. |

unfortunately, i pretty much skipped morrowind.
oblivion was pretty good...
if you've played fallout 3, you have a pretty good idea of how skyrim play so far - they obviously don't have the aiming system (VATS) as in fallout, but it's so far pretty similar. great visuals for environment - good music, or audio in total for that matter(voice acting, lots of background stuff, etc). still pretty early in it, so i can't tell you about advanced abilities like alchemy or blacksmithing - but it appears to be simple enough to craft stuff, similarly to fallout again.
lots of stuff to pick up everywhere like fallout... we'll see how the level progression goes. i haven't spent much time tweaking anything.

80 hours in now. still haven't beaten it. probably still have 2 or 3 dozen random quests to complete, still have large swaths of the map that i haven't even gotten to yet...this game is massive.
