depends a bit on the laptop bios but in 99% the answer is: No.
simple reason being the laptop has much less space to get the heat out in time, design is much more constrained to the specified amount of heat when running stock speeds. if you overclock you risk literally setting it on fire... _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

No. Don't mess with overclocking a laptop. If you even have the options, you'll only get a small boost before thermal throttling kicks in and slows you back down again.
If you want speed, and have some money to burn, max out the RAM with the fastest you can get, and replace the HDD with an SSD (sandforce chip, not the cheaper ones). _________________ Mine go to 11 |
