Fairly certain Doc's moved the contests over to FB and YouTube, more visitors there, now. _________________ Faster than the speed of snot |

sorry to bring back an old thread - but, what sucks about this is places like FB and youtube, etc, etc are all blocked by my employer's firewall. no contests for me...
is there no way to still have the contest entries from this site, as well as those other outlets?

so, you are complaining about the fact you need to use your home internet connection for entering in a contest? _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

If he works from home, he might not have his own 'net service. _________________ Faster than the speed of snot |

partially correct. i frequent nearly all tech-related forums/blogs/news/etc outlets from my work PC - which requires secure VPN to the home office once on a network, which then funnels through their firewall. i do this somewhat because i have all my bookmarks, logins (from both personal accounts as well as business accounts) available, makes downloading work material to work PC simpler, sending links, comments, etc. much easier.
my home machine has all-access. but, when i spend my whole day at the office on a computer i don't typically have the desire to sit right back down in front of a computer again.
