If you look in my signature, you will see "Custom Case: Ford Aerostar".
Actually, that is the case my board is headed into.
The inspiration: My uncle and I were playing around on the Apple website, configuring the Powermac. We got it up to about $32k. My uncle: "I would rather buy a car than a Mac!"
(No, he and I weren't mocking Apple prices; we just were noticing how... pricey they are at the time.)
I know what you're thinking. I combined the two. Close.... but I DID combine computer and car. No, I didn't turn the van into a computer (it would be powerful though ). But I'm getting my case to look like it! _________________ I'm gonna get my new hardware. And my worklog here.

Now, I started it before I decided to take pix. Let me tell you what I have done so far.
I inherited two (really) old P1 200 boards and cases. I figured, I'm not gonna get much oomph out of these. So I take the boards out, unscrew this, saw that, unrivet, bend and saw some more. Finally, I got to near unriveted cases.
I figure, while it's unriveted, spray painting the case. So I get metallic blue can we have. Turns out, it's nearly empty. Good color, just not enough.
And this is where I'll be finishing this story... _________________ I'm gonna get my new hardware. And my worklog here. |

Sorry for the delay....
Got school, so finding time is tough.
Main case:
The top/front panel area (thinking of putting LCD here)
All I need is 2nd board to put in there. Getting it.
How it goes together
Sorry for it being so dark.
While I'm at it, and since I enjoy casemodding, I am going to show a couple others.
The 810 is in there. _________________ I'm gonna get my new hardware. And my worklog here. |

STILL no pix
However, the Labtec PS/2 laser mouse I have with it is in the process of being modded. Gloss red L/R buttons.
In honor of the vehicle that inspired it (RIP ) _________________ I'm gonna get my new hardware. And my worklog here. |

Good news!
I just found out, if I mount the board vertically, I am able to use a full ATX form factor board!
So I might be updating my sig soon...
Bad news:
My camera is at a loss of batteries. And I still haven't bought the spraypaint. _________________ I'm gonna get my new hardware. And my worklog here. |
