Hmm. No open world, purely track-based racing sim that is a first of it's kind in the NFS series.
Whatever happened with getting the series "back to it's roots" during Undercover development? I guess they changed their minds again.  |

I don`t know, IMO they ARE kinda getting back to their roots.
The first NFS was co-developed with Road&Track magazine and was very realistic (for the time). It was after that that the series started taking on the arcade-like, cartoony feel to it that it had ever since (with the possible exception of Porsche Unleashed). I like the looks of the game so far, but only time will tell. Glad to see this post here though 
I still miss all the in depth info and commentary on all the cars they used to have. That first game had a mix of track racing, point to point racing, traffic, no-traffic, and cops complete with arrest cutscenes.

It feels a bit like race driver grid IMO, but with a bit more depth into the track racing games.  |

I purchased this game on the XBOX360 .. was pretty good tbh, but I prefer the older versions of NFS  |
