...why is it that when i have the 8.10 (or any cats, for that matter) installed, and i play a game, stuff just is herky-jerky like crazy...
but when i install only the 8.10 driver and ati tray tools, everything runs smooth as silk? _________________ my main rig...

May be other drivers vying for control. Ensure that all drivers are compatible, and any older ones are uninstalled. The "too many cooks.." syndrome.
Also check the refresh rate and resolution to ensure it isn't beyond what your monitor can tolerate. _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |
