I'm trying to figure out the connection for the front audio panel.

The manual shows the following connectors:
Pin 1 - Port F Left Channel
Pin 3 - Port F Right Channel (The pin is missing)
Pin 5 - Port Right Channel
Pin 7 Port E and Port F Senses send (jack detection)
Pin 9 - Port E Left Channel

Pin 2 - Ground
Pin 4 - Presence (dongle present)
Pin 6 - Port F Sense return (jack detection)
Pin 8 - Key
Port 10 - Port E Sense return (jack detection)

Here are the connectors and how they are labeled:

GND
Mic-In
Mic-Bias
R-In
L-In
L-Out
R-Out

Anybody out there know how these connections match-up?

You would get better notice if posted in the "General" folder. A Mod may see it worthy of being moved. But don't double-post.

The connectors marked "R-in" and "L-in" would be returns from the front panel jacks to feed the rear audio jacks. The connectors marked "R-out" and "L-out" would be the source audio from the sound chip to the front panel jacks. The front panel jacks would need three wires each, one common or ground and one audio feed plus the return. If only two wires for the front panel jack, then it would not return the audio to the rear jacks when the front ones are not plugged into.
If you don't use the front panel jacks, you place a pair of jumpers on those "left" and "right" pins to enable the rear jacks.
For the other pins, there is one "ground" plus an audio input from the mike (Mic-in). The other one (Mic-bias) would be for a condenser type mike. You don't need that pin if using a crystal or magnetic type mike.

Found a link to a PDF manual of the mobo. Page 11 shows the front audio header at the rear of the mobo, as item "B". But on page 37 it is shown as item "D" (!?!) with pinouts.
On page 38 is a "plain English" chart of how to connect.

As I noted, the front audio jacks would need to be a 2-circuit type, where if no plug were inserted, a lead would return the audio back to the pinset header for enabling the rear jacks. If there is no return audio lead, then the rear jacks would not be useful.
The PC case should have come with a diagram of how to connect the front panel audio leads, and their purpose!
