Its not a pc game but i would be very surprised if someone on these forums had never touched the game.
As its coming out soon i want to know what people are thinking. High expectations/low expectations? Good/bad points? How many have it pre-ordered and paid for? lol
I'll admit i have it preordered and paid for. I"m glad its coming out but my expectations aren't as high as they were for Halo 2. |

I'll probably get it once my xbox 360 gets fixed. Damn Microsoft, they were supposed to send me the box two days ago. _________________ Join team 33258 today!! |

| Not remotely interested in the Halo games one bit. I've played Halo PC and it was decent, but I really didn't think it was anything special. Bought Halo 2 cheap a few months ago, didn't play it much (got the Xbox version). Probably will not touch Halo 3 until either a PC version is made or it's been a few years. |

Yes I agree it seems to me to be an overated game. I can almost guarantee Halo 3 will be a bust and people will be upset even if they don't admit it for buying a 360 just to play Halo 3. |

man people are so bitter about what other people like on these forums. Its not groundbreaking, I agree. But does it have to be groundbreaking to be fun? A lot of "groundbreaking" games weren't all that fun in my opinion.
I agree halo isn't the best series on the market as some people claim, but that doesn't mean its not fun to play. I'll admit that my 360's only used for 3 games, Guitar hero II, Forza II and soon to be Halo III. |

I don't want any people to think less of me on these forums than they already do but I am sorry. If your 360 is used for only 3 games, each of which I personally couldn't stand to play more than an hour of, I think you made a terrible investment. I don't believe I or anyone else that posted in this thread was being bitter. We simply stated our opinions about the games.
Halo is not a fun game for me in any way. It's what I consider the shooter for people under the age of 10. I'm not joking around about that either. The only people I know that do play Halo are still in grade school and are not the most skilled of all people. The game does not take skill. There are only certain weapons which can be utilized as effective and the game. One being the sniper rifle, 2 being the explosives and 3 the vehicles. The games have just been wash and rinse. There are no differences and nothing new is introduced. If Halo 3 is to be any different I will be amazed.
I don't even want to start with Guitar Hero. That IMHO is the most overrated and overhyped game on the market. I don't see how in any way that is fun. It's more of a DDR that just fails.
Forza 2 meh. Never really took an interest to it or any other racing games.
There are some good games for the 360 but honestly I can stick with the PC. Halo cannot touch any of the PC games that are out today in the way of shooters. And god if you haven' played Team Fortress 2 beta yet you have no idea what your missing. I won't go into detail about it but it is defintley worth it. I suggest you look into some new games, especially as far as shooters go and if you still wish to defend Halo as being a good or fun game then I will be here. On a side note, I don't want to start a war but if you wish to drop the first bomb I will not hesitate to follow. |
