About how long does it take for you to do this? From start to finish.

and might i add- what are you doing for initial surface prep, as some of it is plastic (sand surface, and wipe down w/ some kind of solvent?)? i'm sure that a custom auto finish quality paint job takes some time to do (prep is 90+% of the job)!

the metal pieces get sanded with 800 grit paper carefully as not to break through the original finish the plastic pieces get abraded with a synthentic "scotch brite" pad then sprayed with a special plastic adhesion promotor then its right into paint

This looks really nice. I have a friend that does automotive paint and restoration and I have the exact case and was thinking of having him paint it. This is an incentive. Great job!
