I like most first-person shooters. It all started with Doom, Heretic, and Hexen. The graphics sucked compared to todays games, but they were fun. Don't play much because of time and other things, but i loved Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Played the whole game last winter.
Any suggestions on something similar that's currently out? 8)

I love all games, but i am especially keen on the good RPG's that have a story behind then as well as a good playing interface. Baldurs Gate series is one of them FF series is another. But i also enjoy some good ol asskicking Battlefield 1942 would have to tip the scales on any first person shooter game. And i am also ranked in the top 2 percent game so i guess you would have to like it to be that good at it. and i am in the 2nd ranked clan in the world. www.714thmi.org

When it comes to LAN parties and gaming, theres only one thing you need to know BF!!
Battlefield 1942 is by far the most badass game available, and today the 'Road to Rome' expansion was released!!
WHOOHOO!!

I don't play a lot, but recently I got hooked on BF 1942. I just got the expansion pack. It has a few bugs that drive me nuts. When on the deck of a ship and it is moving, I tend to slide and have fallen overboard a few times. The airplanes have control issue, sometimes it will start a steep climb or drop when banking, making it very difficult to stay on target. Over all, I love the game. :D

Warcraft III online is just amazing... it was my introduction to online gaming, and i can't believe what i've been missing all this time! Also 10/10's: GTA vice city, timesplitters 2(too short though), Medal of Honour, Baldurs gate and Forgotten realms stuff is too good, and of course- Quake...

I was dissappointed in the single player missions of Battlefield 1942. It basically is just a bot match version of multiplayer. It's still fun, I was just hoping for more of a campaign and storyline.
