It's a CASE to CASE basis

Call me bored but here it is...my very own. It's an antec plus660B. The very first of it's kind mod.

Yes...that is a phone. A nokia 6190. The phone has been modded too. The AC adaptor is hooked up to charge the battery and when it's full a switch will be flipped at the back of the case and charging is off. An IR reciever will be customized and will be placed(hidden) inline with the nokia IR Phone fits like a glove.

Is this crazy mod functional? YES! I have 3 phones 6190,8290,T28 all GSM. I have two active accts(one for work and one just to send and recieve local and international txt/sms msgs). The 6190 modded on the case is for txt/sms which uses the Nokia PCsuite software via IR.

The round thing you see on the side is a 5.5 MB Quart speaker grill. Behind the grill is the 80mm intake fan. The grill serves as filter and can easily be taken off for cleaning.

I don't know if the MOD GODS would laugh at me or be proud of me. All is reversable though except for the speaker grill assembley in which the base/grill holder has been bolted on the case.

So.....there it is. Table is open for all the critics :P

The phone doesn't just sit right there. It fits securely between the drives. The antec plus660 has metal plates on each drive. You have to twist ans snap it out there before you can install drives. The middle drive on the plate was not removed. I pushed the plastic drive cover all the way to the metal plate and was secured. The only way you can remove the phone is when you remove the front case panel.

The charger is plugged on the phone as I mentioned on the thread. Dang do I hate being bored LOL
