Hello!

My deskmini stopped working after installed a wifi module.I removed everything except the cpu, still not power up. Tried the cpu in other mobo, worked well. If it is connected to the wall, electric sound comes from the marked part. What can be the problem? Is it fixable? Should i RMA it?

You did remove that WiFi module and checked it for any damage on the connector? You checked the connector on the motherboard for any damage and/or left debris?

You say electrical sound, that is a bit vague. Is that a high pitch noise or a hum/buzz?

What does happen if you add one stick of memory? Does the fan spin?

No damage on the wifi module connector nor the motherboard. It is a high pitch noise.

If i add memory, it still not power up, no fans spin.

It sounds like electrical component(s) have been damaged and cause a short circuit...
