When powering on I get the following message: 11.01 System encountered a hardware problem and needs service. When I use my POST card I get the following code "b5" along with the 11.01 error that shows on the screen. I cannot find any info on it. The BIOS version is AST 2.02.

Thanks,
Matt

"AST P60".. that is a veteran! The error code could refer to several problems, such as memory not seated properly or wrong type, device card not properly seated, to the hard drive not spinning up fast enough to meet the BIOS self-ID time. Even if the CPU was not compliant to the board design. Ensure all devices, memory and CPU are properly seated, the PSU voltages are on target. More than 2% off the mark, and PSU voltages can cause problems.

From another post in another forum:

I reinstalled the CMOS battery after charging it and when I powered it on it loaded fine.

So no error codes then? It means you need to replace the CMOS battery I guess.
