Currently I'm planing (with help) what components I want for my new PC.

But I'm not quite sure if I want to stick with M$ :( or dive into Linux. :?

My main road block in this decision is games. Will I be able to play my PC games I like? Is it possible to play any newer games?

I've been to the Wine site: https://www.winehq.org/

But I don't understand all the listings: Gold, Bronze, etc? Steam or Full Game does it matter?
How do I determine which games will play? I understand they won't (all) be perfect. But what should I look for to see if the game(s) will be playable?

Another problem is which Linux distro would be my best choice using Wine?

Something that looks similar to M$ without the headaches. :)

There is quite a list of good games for Linux, but not all. Some may need an "emulator" to set up a Windows environment for use.
