Create a Clean Install Partition on XP

Is there a way to create a partition on my hard drive. and on that partition have the files necessary for XP OS, in the event that I want to do a clean re installation of XP?

External-USB: SATA 3gb/s - WDC-WD7500AACS-00ZJB0 (750 gb)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 - PCIe v1.1 x16 (2.5 Gb/s) @ x16 (2.5 Gb/s)

Can be done easily from the XP install disk. But not all files on the disk would copy to that 'install' partition.
If possible to do a complete copy, you are looking at a bit less than 30 GB of needed space.. to include the service packs.
Then all those security updates that are now hard to find. Best would be to do a full backup of a known good setup.

after that you can copy the install CD to that partition, the only tricky bit is to have it bootable from that partition
