Firefox went loopy

Postby Toby B. » Thu Dec 10, 2015 10:29 am

Fonts seem to have gone bold for a number of sites (mainly noticed on Facebook), and some also appear as italic. I have cleared cookies, reset Firefox to no avail. Makes it a pain in the ass when coding since font displays do not react correctly..

Firefox 42.0
only modification - AdBlock Plus (latest version)

Screenshots are available in my forum to see what I am seeing:

If that was the case, I would have thought it would have affected other applications. Also, Ccleaner should have reset it to normal, which has not happened.

And "restore default" via the control panel has no effect either. Hit the button and it just greys out the buttons on the panel/page.

My Firefox is 42.0 also, and no problems with site postings.
What is your default font set as.. for Firefox, and for the sites?

was never changed by me, so it "should be" default.

FF v42 is OK here... There is an issue with Facebook at the moment. On my setup, any video playing locks the whole system up. Disabled Flash and it works fine. Try disabling Flash and Adblock, reset FF and see what happens.
