Can someone help me with this please.
I just want to be able to watch movies (.avi, .mkv, etc.........) located on my PC and watch on my TV.
I know there are multiple ways of doing this but I am hoping if I provide the equipment I have someone can assist with an idea.
Note, I am trying to avoid burning something, I prefer to attach either wireless or wired.

PC - does not have an HDMI port. Is connected to my Uverse gateway wirelessly for internet. Graphics card is GeForce GTX-750(no HDMI port)
TV - Sony Bravia, has available HDMI ports but is not a wireless TV
DVD Player - Sony wireless, model BPD-3100
Uverse DVR

Hoping to not spend a fortune to do this, would prefer a wireless setup but if too costly, then I will go wired.

Thanks
Bill

There are many wireless to HDMI and DVI plus USB gadgets. New Egg has a listing of many, some costing less than $40.00 US to more than $400.00 US.

I cannot recall any GTX 750 having no HDMI port even the low profile ones...? And if you do want to straem from PC/Laptop/tablet to an HD TV, why not get a cheap and cheerful ChromecastDongle..

Try using the DLNA feature on your DVD player. Your PC should see it as a "Media Device". Might take some fiddling to make it work, but it's free...
