The source telephone number in that link supposedly belongs to a collection agency in Los Angeles Calif.
Some of those agencies are legit, others are parasites!

There is another scam going around elsewhere.. a caller pretends to be from the IRS, and demands payment for back taxes or you will loose your bank account and home! They fake a legit caller ID number to appear the call is real.
THE IRS WILL NEVER CALL YOU.. THEY WILL SEND A FORM LETTER BY MAIL.
There is a "Dirty Dozen" list the IRS has released..

Some of these scams are really stupid; I keep getting emails where the header and senders name are gibberish. I'm really gonna open THAT! The other day I got a phone call at my home, and caller ID showed my home phone number. Needless to say, I didn't answer.
I have a photographic memory, only problem is, I ran out of film.

Anyone that calls you and asks for passwords or personal info, press the pound key for about 10 seconds then hang up! :x
Main problem in tracing scam calls is that if they use VoIP or similar, almost impossible to track them.

the funny thing on these phone calls and emails is the loty of idiots that answers giving real sensible data. that is why these scams survive
