Just in the news, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has decreed the Internet as a neutral commodity, where no discrimination as to users (Web sites) is allowed. No one gets 'preferential' treatment or can be denied equal service access. Does it also mean that there is a "data limit" on what you download or upload?
Certain telephone and streaming services are unhappy, to say the least.
Will this create higher rates for users, or will the service be regulated as are CATV and other services?
Time will tell!
