Media Player

Postby c327 » Sun Nov 16, 2014 8:24 pm

I need a good free media player to be used on a Windows XP PC that can open an ipad video. Current Windows Media Player will not open an Apple ipad video sent to Outlook Express email.

Thanks

Proprietary material with those Apple iTunes and video.
But Apple offers a free DL of their Quick Time for Windows.. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Or perhaps VLC media player may be compatible.. http://vlcapp.com/jump/vlc-free-m-v6-cl ... t&c=VLC_US

Thank you for the link you posted it works. I was wondering if there were other free media programs that would also work well with a Windows PC to open an Apple originated video?

Proprietary hardware and software, reminds me of the horrible experience had with Dell computer the company many years ago (no face) PDT_Armataz_01_10 PDT_Armataz_01_02

would not be surprised if that is a .3gp file. Do you know what file extension it has? That would help a bit in hunting down the right codec.

Lots of "free" media player programs available. But best to trust only those from reliable sources. Otherwise, you may be the victim of malware or root kits!
99.9% of all data files have a 'tag' name.. 3 or 4 characters after the file's name, with a dot between. This is an association to the proper program for use.
The VLC media program can accommodate the majority of media files.. more so than WMP. And uses less system resources!
