Thx, but is it a problem Voltage of 1.65V instead of 1.5V?

some boards will require you to set the voltage higher manually. and as mentioned above, sometimes things don't go so well when upping voltages. since it's listed as a supported module, i'd expect your board to not have issues with it...but, your mileage may vary.

Hi

I would like to buy this RAM: CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10, it should be on the compatibility list of MSI Z97 U3 PLUS, but cannot find how high these modules are.
I would like to use one of these cpu cooler:

Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev.2

or

EKL Alpenföhn Brocken ECO

and hope I don't get space problems.

As to that link for memory.. "Four 8GB memory modules", quad-channel, for almost $500.00 USD?
The motherboard you have is only dual-channel. You could max out the memory to 32 GB with that kit, but why?
The modules can top out at 1600MHz, which is double the 800 MHz base FSB with some CPU types.
The memory you note in the link is not listed on the MSI memory types page. But newer types of memory may be compatible to the motherboard. Best to stay with what is listed in the chart for that board..
http://www.msi.com/support/mb/Z97_U3_PL ... upport-mem
Or use the Memory Advisor at http://www.crucial.com/ . They do guarantee a perfect match. Even if you don't purchase from them, you know what would be best for your needs.
As to total height of the modules and fins, measure the height of a module without the fins.. then equate that measurement to what is on screen. Likely the fins are about 2.5x higher than just the modules.

The memory CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10, I have posted is in the compatibility list:

Corsair
CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10
DDR3
1600
N/A
1.5V
DS
8GB
4

BTW I've searched for compatible memory in http://www.crucial.com/ but cannot find 32GB (4x8GB).

Btw wich memory can you really recommend for MSI Z97 U3 PLUS?

I have found this memory:

Kingston HyperX Beast DIMM XMP Kit 32GB, DDR3-2400, CL11-13-14 (HX324C11T3K4/32)

not in the compatibility list. but hope is ok.

When populating all memory slots, that can slow overall performance. Best to go with only two modules for optimum results.
Did find that CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10 in the "over clocking" compatible memory list.. but not in the standard list.
As long as the timings are identical, other brands than recommended should pose no problems.

Thx, but is it better to use 2x8GB(16GB) instead of 4 x 8GB(32GB) memory?
This Motherboard has 4 memory slots, but I don't think that I can use 2 x 16GB for this motherboard.

No 16GB modules on your Z97 chipset due to no CPUs supporting them on that socket:

Stick with 4x 8GB
