yes hello as it says in the topic header i am wanting to know how to burn a .bio file to a cd. i am having to recover my bios and am not sure how to burn a .bio file to a cd

Welcome to Motherboards.org.
You will need an ISO format (International Organization for Standardization) on the disk, for the basic state of operation of a system when in BIOS mode. This guide should help you in the process.
You will need to download the specific BIOS version for your machine in a compressed file. Extract the working files from it, there will be a text file with instructions. Follow exactly.

I'd recommend flash drive or floppy over a CD. Just burn it using the regular windows format otherwise. And the BIOS writer for your motherboard.
Just follow the instructions to properly update your bios.
