Postby Karlsweldt » Fri May 02, 2014 7:51 am

Microsoft® has just issued a security patch for Internet Explorer, Windows versions back to XP. This is KB2964358, and information about this is available from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2964358
Please read the cautions about this update, as a previous update may be required, with Windows 7. (KB2929437)

With all the point-of-sale and other computer systems used by retailers and banking institutions still using the Windows XP based OS, this was a suspected problem known for years. But now that the active security support is ended, might be too tempting (and easy!) for hackers to tap into those systems!
