Not happy!

Post by Karlsweldt »

Not happy about this.. :x :x
For more than 10 days, had a large work unit worth more than 1,000 points working. Was at 98% 12/24, when shut down at midnight. Next morning, started up again. A few hours later, checked progress. Work unit was DUMPED! Yes, expiration was noticed for 12/25. Real bummer!
I always shut down the systems when it is bed time.

Same event again! Got a large WU on the 22nd of December, was up to 99.5% done by the end of Feb. 04.. and the program DUMPED it! More than 200 hours of wasted time on the WU.. and loss of more than 1,00 points. Someone at Stanford must think that all contributors have "top-drawer" systems to process WUs quickly.
Another week, and I should have my rebuilt system up and ready for this 'new' process standard. PDT_Armataz_01_02

Gave up on using my #1 system for [email protected] The units take longer than acceptable to finish, and are discarded with no credit. It is back to 'general' usage. Not going to acquire an AGP video card acceptable to [email protected] for it.
The "new" system is now fully on line and working nicely. Getting more than 4,500 PPD results!
Check the thread of my "venture"..
