Been trying to get an Acer One netbook (Win 8 ) to create an image to my NAS drive, but the option to save to a network drive is not shown. I have tried adding a network drive, and mapping a drive. Both options allow the drive to show up in Windows Explorer. The NAS drive (and all networked PCs) show up in "Network" I can access the drive everywhere but in backup. There obviously is a setting I'm missing, But I know very little about Win 8. One option I saw required changing the Hosts file, but my network is set up with DHCP, so the IP address may change. I am trying to use the built in "Windows 7 File recovery".
Can anyone help? _________________ I have a photographic memory, only problem is, I ran out of film. |
