My AVG security suite does a full-system scan daily. Today, it found files in the original HaloŽ game program that were noted as a Trojan down loader (Generic.X13.XNE)!!
Specifically, "Halo\__new_haloupdate.exe", and also "Halo\haloupdate.exe".
Don't know if it is a false positive or actual threat.. They were incarcerated!! _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |

I think its a false positive. I assume you actually have Halo installed on the PC. There really isn't anything different between a program that downloads updates for a program and one that downloads trojans. _________________ "Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality." -Jules de Gautier

I, too, lean toward a 'false positive'. The program was installed on my "main" computer many years back.. and took one or two "patches" provided by MS.
