For $15 less, same chipset, less memory slots, PCI instead of PCIexpress for the low-bandwidth slots:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%2050001944%20600093976%20600315499&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&CompareItemList=280|13-157-303^13-157-303-TS%2C13-157-301^13-157-301-TS

but that is about as low as you can go for a good board. The cheapest LGA1155 boards are $50 but very limited...

BTW what's the idle power consumption of ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP, H77 (dual PC3-12800U DDR3). Does it consume lot of power, more than other motherboards of same class?

I think your harddisk will take more idle power than your board, shouldn't worry too much about that unless you want to run this system from an UPS/battery.
