I want to thank the site, moderators, and members alike for all the worthwhile replies, links and in general help and acceptance to this site. Im not too inclined to post while on the web...but here I`ve found it can be not only fun,but quite informative. Here your new found knowledge is bound only by your questions and,or your inquisiveness. Not by your `Noob Level`, or your supposed `current level of immediate IQ attained this hour`. Thanx. I feel welcomed, comfy, and your commercial mainstays should be very pleased with MOBO.org......Cause man...this cash is burnin a hole in my jeans as I speak. Thanx, MebBones...Face Piles of Trials with Smiles...for it Riles Them to Believe You Truly Percieve the Webs They Weave. |

this forum has always been thus... always cordial, always helpful. there might be some cross words spoken at the water cooler or the hundred years war... but that stays there. when it comes to hardware, this is the site to hit. it is a little suprising that there isn't MORE traffic here. _________________ my main rig...

traffic: just go to some of the BIG forums out there and advertise?
I dunno why it is quiet in here, I think in general less people tinker to build their own desktop, it's all laptops, smartphones and tablets these days... _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

Quite true! Today, the majority of the 'people on the go' have a cell phone or 'smart' phone that does more than make telephone calls! On-the-go Web and Internet use is very popular. Today's hand-held communicators are a far cry from those of only 20 years back.. when we started to dream of having portable do-all gadgets. Today's portable electronic devices have a lot of memory and storage.. and are comparable to the speed and graphics of some desk-bound units! Plus a lot of people have given up their wired existence altogether! An iPad, a Kindle, a Nook or whatever.. keeps us in touch.
Sadly, the DIY building of computers is falling out of favor to most, but the dedicated gamer and performance geek still favors the "old" ways! _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |
