As it pertains to an XP Pro SP3 PC:
Currently using Outlook Express 6 and set up to receive my email from Gmail and it all works fine. I was wondering about the other Windows email programs that can be used with XP Pro.
I see that XP will not support some of the other Windows email programs. I think Outlook can be used but I don't know what it really looks like or if it's much better than Outlook Express 6 or if it's worth the trouble installing it?
I realize that there is only about 2 mores years left worth of support for XP and then I will have to think about another O.S. and probably retire this currently 8 year old P4 PC. But in the mean time I was wondering if I could update my current email program?
Is installing Outlook worth it ??????????? |

If you have the license for it (bought office including outlook) you can try it. What version of outlook do you have the license for? _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

I don't have the license or Outlook. If its something that needs to be bought in order to get Outlook then I will need to know a little more about Outlook in how it looks and works. |
