Would it, could it maybe eventually perhaps mean AMD has got something remotely capable of reaching Intel's top-end CPUs or can we expect a new round of yet speedier/leaner/cooler chips from Intel as a result?

Wow ! That's zippy !

I love competition, perhaps in 3-4 years I might be shopping for a 10-12 core 8z CPU, hopefully for less than $100...

Of course - I don't know of any application that even uses 3 cores, although I'm sure there are some out there.

But there are companies that assuredly could bloat to the challenge (Win 14 may require 10 processors...).

Wonder what kind of memory was keeping up with that speed ?
