GATEWAY ESX500S BIOS ANYONE HAVE A HACK OR SOMETHING

I AM LOOKING TO FIX that the fsb is 400mhz but for some reason the memory only runs at 266mhz even with ddr400 pc3200 id like to unlock the bios...or unpropriatorize...so to speak!! anyone have a fix?

the clockrate is 266MHz, the data rate is double that so 533MHz. if you put in a decent 533FSB CPU instead of the 2.4GHz/400MHz FSB one that is in there now, the system will run at full speed.

The motherboard used is a D845GRG from Intel with a customized bios,

but even the retail bios from Intel does not have the setting for DDR800 which is what you want (400MHz clock rate = 800MHz data rate). DDR =Double Data Rate

but isnt the memory and fsb setting seperate? i have had amd cpu's that run at 333 but put 400 memory in and other boards report 333mhz and 400 for memory

right and i am seeking the original uncustomized bios...would it still work to flash it back to intel spec...not gateway spec?
