|
|
Now that Windows 7 has been out for a while, with the first service pack being released as I understand it has been and folks here have been actually using it, my question is:
XP Pro does not alloy the user to password protect an entire folder, just files within it, if it does then I don't know about it. Has anything been done in Windows 7 to change or improve that ??
I know it's kind of extreme, but when I think of Windows Vista I get flash backs to Windows ME and as far as I'm concerned Windows 7 is an improved version of Vista ???? |

Windows 7 is NOT an improved version of Vista. Parts have been rewritten completely and the UAC is now actually usable.
As far as your question goes:

The more expensive versions of windows 7 seem to have EFS:

but unsure if that is what you want. _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.
