Dell Motherboard ID Needed (Updated)

Postby ssheperd » Wed Nov 24, 2010 8:41 pm

I was given a barely used Dell XPS 410. I have the owners manaul but no information was provided about the system board. Tried Manufacturer ID Links but too many boards appear. Of course I called Dell but they were no help at all. I would like to have information about the board including manufacturer, model number, pin layout, ect. The identifying number that appears on the board is E210882. Also, the following appears on a tag: AA-D37032-306. If I need to offer any additional information please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks! :)

The Memory type is dual-channel 533-, 667-, and 800-MHz DDR2. Sorry for the short descriptions. I am trying to get 5 posts so I can submit the URL link for the specs

the AA number points to an OEM intel board being the most likely but cant find an exact match

Thanks so much for responding. At least I know I'm looking for an Intel OEM board. That's a start.

Went back and looked at the board and the letters RU appear before E210882.

Unfortunately thats probably as much as your going to find out about the board.
It may be an Intel OEM board, but Intel only makes them for Dell. The PSU connectors are different, so they only work with their power supplys, front panel pinouts are undocumented, etc...

If you want front panel pinouts, we can see what's been documented online by third parties, but its not going to be easy...

Also according to some Google results, the Dimension 9200 was the same system
