Some IP addresses my firewall connects to are 129.74.85.16 (or 15):80 (or 8080). IP look up shows they belong to the University of Notre Dame. My F@H Project: 10039 (Run 209, Clone 0, Gen 39 is turning in projects to that IP but the log of the work unit says Stanford?
I hope I'm getting all the points due.

The F@H project is immense. Likely Stanford does not have enough servers to handle all the work. It is likely there are more than 400,000 F@H users! Several universities world-wide are likely intermediate "hosts" for the F@H project, to make connections easier. Universities can easily afford high-speed Internet connections, which we as private users deem too expensive.
If your work units are tagged with the team number and your user name, the credits will come to you.

Yes, Karl's correct. There are at least 2 other Universities hosting Folding@Home. I think the non Stanford sites are for projects that are of interest to that particular uni.

[sarcasm]Yeah, that's how you're gonna play, huh?[/sarcasm]
Seriously though.
You're glad your sig's fixed, and I'm glad I have a machine decent enough to fold.
