Home Network Firewalls

Postby Spark » Mon Oct 04, 2010 1:44 am

Regarding a home wireless DSL network that is using XP Home SP3 and XP Pro SP3 PC's.

Using the normal PC utilities to protect from nasties and have my Netgear wireless router configured to password protect the network, but what about putting a firewall on it? Is putting a firewall on a wireless router network a settings adjustment on the router or do I need to install additional software?

Never had a wireless network before..............

Thanks...........

Firewall's built into the router. Beyond that and Windows firewall, you don't need anything else.
