Overclocking Atom 330, Shuttle X27

Postby bsing » Sun Oct 03, 2010 5:26 am

Hi,

I am new to overclocking. I have a Shuttle X27D box (that's the motherboard too) with dual-core, 2-way hyperthreaded Atom CPUs. The BIOS is Phoenix - AwardBIOS and the OS is a Ubuntu 10.04 (64-bit). I was wondering if anybody has experience overclocking this this system and would be kind enough to share how. My primary aim is to get thermal-performance numbers, not to use it as a gaming/computing platform as such.
I also would like to get power, current and voltage readings from the CPU. It would be great if someone could suggest measurement setups (meters, leads, pins to attach to) to help get these readings.

thanks!
