New Adaware Update In Question

Postby Spark » Thu Sep 16, 2010 8:46 pm

The new updated version of Adaware includes the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 9.0

Not sure if I should install this so I am holding off ????

I am wondering if Adaware has lost its luster as a onetime good freeware utility ????

It's pretty much been replaced by malwarebytes and Superantispyware.

Both good tools, I stopped using Adaware a long time ago.

Unfortunately they do a better job with both installed

Adaware became bloatware some years ago. Spybot search and destroy remains a decent app although I prefer Superantispyware and malwarebytes as they scan faster and a few times they have found a critter than Spybot could not squash.
