Yes this is a laptop I want to know the mobo model because I want to acess more features in the bios by flashing it with the manufactors rom and not sonys.

This motherboard is made for sony , the only bios for this motherboard is a sony bios, Laptop bios's have very few features that can be accessed

Well does anyone know any hacks bios updates or how to change ahci to ide in the bios?

Not that I'm aware of, the only BIOS supported by your board is the one provided by Sony. You've got a highly proprietary machine there.

WIMSBIOS might be able to patch something, they used to do that back in the day for supporting larger hard drives...
