Process Explorer also has a "replace Windows task manager" option - it's now my default on all machines. But I would also recommend Process Monitor from the same site - great for seeing what programs and files are actually doing. Set a filter to only show, for example, files created or modified by blah blah name (eg, install.exe) and find out exactly what is being done. Especially handy if a program or driver install causes odd problems.

Try this.... A useful addon for IE7... I have scanned for viruses, adware, spyware, malware and other dodgy scripts and it comes up clean...... Enables you to block adds and add addons etc to IE7...... What is more, it appears to be FREEEEE!!!! (please don't burst my bubble)..... :D

slipstreaming windows (and add raid drivers!)

Postby bugninja » Wed Jan 07, 2009 8:17 pm

deployment tool for the bootable unattended windows installation

http://www.nliteos.com/

i found this today after trying to find a way to load RAID drivers without a floppy drive. thought I should share.

you can add any service packs, update files, and drivers you want to the installation prior to burn.

best of all, its free!
