I am having trouble with all the settings on my Asus Rampage Extreme X48, and wondering if anyone has a similar system and could post their best overclocking results.

Asus Rampage Extreme X48
Intel E8600 Dual Core
RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231218
Bigwater 780e watercooling system (CPU and Northbridge cooled)
ATI 4870X2
Windows 7 - 7600 - (maybe the RTM?.....)

I am currently running at about 4.0ghz w/ ram at around 1500mhz, but I think I can do better.

Also, would inproperly OCing the ram make my system use more ram? Kinda seems like its using more than it should - fresh install of Win 7 too
