General Posting Rules

Postby Tolemac » Fri Jan 07, 2005 2:21 pm

Welcome to Motherboards.org!

Herewith are the General Posting Rules and guidelines for the entire forum.

First, the don'ts: No threads, posts or links involving porn, warez, racism, excessive spam or "flaming" are allowed. Offenders will be given one warning only. Any infractions after that will result in being banned.

Please post in the appropriate forum. There several to choose from, so you should be able to pick the one you need for your question or comment. If you are unsure where to post, then please PM one of the Mod Squad and we'll be happy to help you out.

Be sure to read the individual rules for each forum, as they will give you more information about that forum and the posts allowed there.

Try to watch your spelling, and please use the preview button to correct spelling errors as it just makes it that much easier to help you if we know what you're talking about. Also, despite the fact that this is a computer technical forum, please refrain from using "leet speak" in your posts.

When replying to any thread or post, please be courteous and respectful. Remember, this is an "All Ages" forum with all levels of knowledge and experience. You may disagree with a post, but do so politely. Any undue sarcasm or "flaming" will get you a warning. The Mod Squad reserve the right to modify and/or delete any threads or posts found not in compliance with the forum rules and policy at our sole discretion.

Remember, this is your forum. Share and help as much as you are able and have fun while doing it. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, rants, etc., then please PM the Mod Squad. It's what we're here for. 8)
