folding tough

I am for the time being, able to fold on machines that were previously idle.
I can probably continue using them until August.
I think it is somewhere in the area of 35 machines all together, and i am not sure about specs and procs and things like that, although I could find that out.
The only thing, is that almost all of them are utilizing the diskless folding cd, because well, that was the one stipulation, and in the event of power failure, it could be a while before I get them running again.
That happened today, which is why I bring it up, it took me until this morning to start some of them, some are on UPSs.
Well, either way I am trying my best to support the team and wanted to share.

All contributions to the cause are welcome!
Perhaps if the 'owner' of the systems were to note the perspectives of the F@H disclosures, a change in status may be realized, where you can install the programs. http://folding.stanford.edu/

I should have been slightly more specific, the reason I am using the diskless folder program, also, is that half the pcs have their hard drives removed and the other half are running vmware esx and they know.

I don't know if you can preconfigure the diskless client for our team/your username. If so it's a matter of making sure the CD is the first boot drive on the systems and the "after power failure" in the bios setting is "always power on".
We hate rut, but we fear change.

The diskless folder is completely configurable, if it weren't I wouldn't be getting the points I am getting. This URL goes to the Folding CD Generator and everything is customizable. http://reilly.homeip.net/folding/cd.html
Alright. Well, the folding continues.

I think that's awesome!!!! Thanks for asking around and getting access to a farm. Doesn't matter how long it is. Everything helps the final result.
