Nice! But remember, the more active your graphics screens, the fewer CPU cycles are available! If you have access to the video features, set a 'blank screen' for after 3~5 minutes of no GUI.

thanx Karl... I'm working on my 5th staright WU atm. So is it ok to just leave it folding? or do i give it a break after such numbers of straight WUs done? I'm askin coz I plan to just leave it folding when not gaming.

About the "leaving the display blank after 3-5 mins"... where's the option to it? I just enabled the screensaver on mine :?

thanx

A PS3 isn't designed like a normal computer, with user menus and options. But the less active a screen saver, or none at all, the more free CPU cycles are available. The CPU has to sort all data, and route it to the GPU, audio and other services. With the PS3 and similar designs, all the "cores" are in one chip.. including the GPU.
As long as it has adequate ventilation, it shouldn't have problems with running hot.
Check this out!
Official F@H screensaver.

I wonder how much points are they giving out on these?

I'm setting it to auto shutdown after this one and give it a day or two rest between 20 WUs completion.
