Just letting everyone know that Gears has gone gold for PC. For me, its too late. Sure its a fun game, but its old now. I need to save for other upcoming games.

Good news for me, since I still haven't played it.

I never really have either. I played 1 level at my friends house and it was great. It just didn't make the cut for my list of games this time lol. With Assassins Creed, Crysis, COD4, and some other games, my paycheck will go fast!

yeah those of you who haven't played it yet definately check it out when it hits PC.. i have it on the 360 myself, great game.

my only regret is that i didn't know my friend wanted to sell his copy for the 360 for $10, and i bought the thing used at gamestop a month or so earlier.. for that much money i could have waited a few weeks

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but has anyone played the PC version? If so, what's the verdict?

It's here on the shelf waiting. I just finished CoD4, and I'm thinking BioShock is next. But, I may change the order to help you out. :P

Heh, I've just loaded BioShock and am about to run through it. Not a fan of FPS games, but this one's been intriguing me., so I thought I'd give it a go.

Bioshock is definitely a game worth trying out before Gears if you haven't played it yet. Completely unlike anything else out there right now.

Funny enough...just bought online Crysis...from Amazon...other recommendations were Gears of War....did a search for reviews and fins it is a third person perspective, not that will put me off...just wonder how good it is before I get hold of it.....

COD4 is a fantastic game...Just finished that...really is good, shorter than it should be, but the quality is really good...for me it will be one of those special games I always will keep.

Could not get into Bioshock, just not for me personally....
