Welcome to Motherboards.org!
Home site for Asus: http://www.asus.com/
Here is the page link for driver/manual for the various mobos. Your specific model wasn't listed. Input your criteria and choose one that is closest. Google didn't offer any links for manuals to that model.

Additional Information:

* Notes:
* Model: P4SD
* Motherboard is OEM for HP
* Motherboard only: I/O shield, cables, screws, etc. are not included

so find out which P4SD or P4SD-LA variant it is and we'll try and locate all info and drivers for it...

Look over the motherboard carefully, even on the side of device slots. There should be some labels or print on the surface, possibly a bar-code label on a port shield.

If it's simple P4SD and not P4SD-LA, then it's the board used in the Evo D330/D530 series. I might be able to find info on that.

Here is the tech info:
http://www.ctechinfo.org/boards/asus/p4sd.html

This might be how the front panel header should be connected:
18 17
16 15
14 13
12 11
10 09
08 07
06 05
04 03
02 01
Pin 14 is empty - no pin
Pins 1 and 3 - HDD LED
Pins 5 and 7 - Reset SW
Pins 2 and 4 - PWR LED
Pins 6 and 8 - PWR SW
PINs 17 and 18 are jumpered together

or it is:
pin 1 is blank
pin 2 black from power switch
pin 3 green from power switch
pin 4 missing, blocked on front panel connector
pin 5 yellow for harddisk LED
pin 6 black for harddisk LED
pin 7 red for power LED
pin 8 black for power LED

depending on what variant they fitted on this board, these are two common compaq front panel layouts, as you can see on the page, we have no idea which one is fitted on the P4SD yet. Let us know please.

I also bought this mobo last week to replace an emachines mobo from Intel.
Has anyone confirmed the front panel jumper pin layout? I don't want to fry
the new mobo because the power pins went to the wrong place.

Thanks.

no harm should come to your motherboard if the wires are inadvertantly put in the wrong place
