FF login issues, again...

Postby Sabrewings » Sat Nov 10, 2007 9:26 am

I can't log in with FF 2.0.0.9 at all. It just takes me back to the login page or the home page. Still logged out. Had to log in with IE. Are we not supporting FF anymore?

I have upgraded all my rigs to 2.0.0.9 and no issues whatsoever. Time to kick out the cookies and only the cookies, then restart FF. Usually that does it .

I'm still having sporadic problems with it (FF 2.0.0.9), but am able to log on far more often than previously. Still get random log-outs and sometimes cannot log in, but it's not happening as regularly as when I posted about it in the previous thread.

IE and Opera work fine though.

I'll clear cookies, but this is a fresh install. Just reformatted the desktop.

Edit: Works for now. We'll see how long it goes. Can't believe I didn't try that. :x

It is because I get potty-trained by so many regular end-users on a daily basis...

Cookies do get "stale" after a while!
No problems for me with either system, using FF.. but IE does lag a bit now and then.
With IE, you have to affix certain site cookies with the read-only attribute.. or they will be deleted with every "flush". Many sites look for semi-permanent cookies for confirmation of your ID.
